The board finished in the KEBONY variant is fired and then impregnated. This creates a highly charred wood structure with characteristic cracks (the so-called “alligator skin”). KEBONY fired boards are intended for both indoor and outdoor use. Thanks to impregnation with a special biologically based liquid, KEBONY wood is extremely durable and resistant to weather conditions and biological attacks, which significantly extends the life of the boards.
